Characteristics and personality disorders of the Ichabot
Some of the tactics in which Ichabots engage
Semantic Concoctions
In situations like this it is wise to stay away from fanatics, religious freaks and hate mongers. Instead, pray for their conversion to Jesus Christ, the lover of mankind, who died at the very hand of such people.
- The Ichabot personality has a hate-love relationship to the church. Thus, typically they like to attack church officials without exhibiting any proof of their accusations. Anything that the Ichabot perceives as decent, honest and mainline church oriented is somewhat of a threat to his or her personality, which is disillusioned with reality. In other words, the lack of self-confidence and self-worth of the Ichabot personality is threatened by the healthy standard of a mainline church person.
- The Ichabot personality needs to continuously feed his or her ego by demeaning others. This serves as a compensation for their own lack of faith or knowledge about the church.
- The Ichabot personality is often a true con artist. As he or she subconsciously knows their wrongdoing, an often sophisticated web is woven to hide one’s true identity and nature. Anonymity as much as possible is therefore sought, even by using false names, fabricated email accounts or social media identities.
- Ichabot personalities usually are loners. They launch their attacks at times when their equilibrium is unbalanced or other medical and emotional conditions arise.
Some of the tactics in which Ichabots engage
- The Ichabot personality can often not distinguish between truth and lie, between reality and fiction. Therefore, his or her tactic is to lure the listener into a mixture of half-truth, concoction and official church conclusions without being able to deliver any evidence.
- The Ichabot personality is extremely gullible. He or she thrives on gossip and hearsay. This is even more distorted and molded to fit the sick mind of the already disturbed personality.
- Typically, the Ichabot is very unstable. He or she uses a scheme of different locations or supposed affiliations, thus giving the listener the impression of being a respectable person.
- Ichabots often display schizophrenic tendencies and other mental disorders. They do not like to be discovered and therefore use cover names to avoid be reported to their own church authorities.
- Ichabots can be extremely creative in making up stories about someone else without even knowing the person. Their stories initially appear shocking to the innocent listener. This effect is intended to lure the listener into a maze of fabrications.
Semantic Concoctions
- Ichabots usually defame others by claiming they are not recognized (as if there were any church or Orthodox jurisdiction that is universally recognized). They do not realize that even traditional patriarchates are not recognized or even excommunicated by Old Believers, many Old Calendar churches, Traditionalists, etc.
- Ichabots calling others or whole jurisdictions they don’t like a fraud. This is more amusing than serious. Besides, it does not prove anything. It is like a criminal calling law-abiding citizens fraudulent. Even Jesus Christ was called a fraud.
- Ichabots like to sit in judgment of who is going to heaven and who is not – thus directly contradicting Jesus Christ who says that only God is the arbiter of life and death.
In situations like this it is wise to stay away from fanatics, religious freaks and hate mongers. Instead, pray for their conversion to Jesus Christ, the lover of mankind, who died at the very hand of such people.
